Trigger warning explores the concept of trauma and change. Change in a more degenerative sense. This collection is meant to convey ideas of chaos and pain from a dignified perspective, focusing less on the expression of destructive tendencies and more on living with the aftermath of those actions. I wanted to in some way, express how it feels to live with trauma. The collection combines the feelings of misplaced vulnerability and regret with anger. The finished garments should communicate messages of chaos and pain through the mutilation of the delicate and the emergence of the savage. From a blood-stained wedding robe to a ballgown ripping itself apart.

Trauma changes people, not for the better. Trigger warning is a depiction of the descent from a person to a shell. Until everything that made you you is gone and only the trauma and suffering remain.
